This restorative class is a carefully planned Hatha flow. Hatha is quite simply the practice of Asanas (postures); it is the yoga of activity and balance, designed to align and calm your body, mind, and spirit.
It also contains some Vinyasa elements. Vinyasa meets you where you are; it connects breathe and movement with intention, balance, grace, and fluidity. It can be practiced in a dynamic and stimulating manner and also a gentle restorative way.
You will build strength, gain flexibility, and increase your attention to alignment. The benefits extend beyond the physical as you achieve “effortless effort” in your moving meditation; you move, notice how you are moving, and what truly moves you as your mind, body, and spirit focus
to align in the love of God.
It is with immense gratitude that Ronilynn teaches and holds space for precious souls to discover, and experience their new practice of yoga; to integrate all parts of their being.
As a student, Ronilynn values direct feedback; as an instructor she offers direct feedback.
Each Beginner class is intentionally designed to introduce students to the science of yoga and offer a solid foundation for their asana practice (physical poses).

YIN YOGA REMINDS ME OF FLOATING IN WATER; IT SIMULTANEOUSLY REQUIRES EFFORT AND EASE WITHIN THE BODY AS YOU PASSIVELY HOLD VARIATIONS OF SEATED AND SUPINE POSES BETWEEN 3 TO 5 MINUTES.
YIN YOGA POSES APPLY MODERATE STRESS TO THE CONNECTIVE TISSUES OF THE BODY (THE TENDONS, FASCIA, AND LIGAMENTS) WITH THE AIM OF INCREASING CIRCULATION IN THE JOINTS AND IMPROVING FLEXIBILITY.
RONILYNN'S YIN CLASSES INCORPORATE A SPECIAL BLEND OF TECHNIQUES TO ENCOURAGE A DEEPER RELEASE.

FLOW INTO PRESENCE
God is love. We are created by and for His love, and we experience that love in union with Him and others. In this group class, we seek to connect with God in more profound ways by focusing all of our parts: heart, mind, soul, and body on Him. (Luke 10:25-28)
As we learn to hear His voice, recognize, and listen to it, our yoga practice becomes a moving meditation (on and off of the mat).
During each 90 minute gathering, we make friends and build community through Bible study, prayer, and an All-Levels Hatha Flow practice.
*This class is currently being offered at Relevant Church in Ybor City, Tampa.
